The advantages of the city of Geneva vary widely, beginning with its privileged geographical position at the centre of Western Europe. The metropolises of London, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Milan can be reached by air in less than two hours.

The fact that a competitive economy is all the more important for Switzerland as half of its profits are generated by export has always been taken into account.
